I am a broadcast journalism student with a passion for political news and sports. I have lived overseas and have traveled abroad and across the U.S. extensively, and plan on pursuing a career in football broadcasting or finding a broadcast job in Europe.
I wrote for the Daily Athenaeum, West Virginia University’s school newspaper, my freshman year as a beat reporter. I also interned with the sports department at WBOY, a broadcast news station in Clarksburg, WV. On top of that, I had a video production internship with the Aberdeen IronBirds, a minor league baseball team owned by Cal Ripken Jr. I also helped lead Adventure WV for two summers, a journalism trip for freshman across the state of West Virginia. I currently hold the treasurer position in the WVU chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
My hobbies include playing and watching sports, especially football, basketball, and soccer. I also like to read, play video games, and spending time with friends and family.
